We are celebrating becoming one of the first training providers to achieve the Learning and Skills Council’s (LSC) new standard for Employer Responsiveness the Training Quality Standard (TQS).
The prestigious new standard highlights excellence in the two areas that employers say is most important to them: provider responsiveness to employer needs and provider excellence in a particular vocational area. Avon Vale achieved both parts - with excellence in Engineering.
What is It?
The Training Quality Standard has been developed to recognise and highlight the best organisations delivering training and development solutions to employers.
It is the only Standard dedicated to helping employers identify not just high quality training, but the organisations best equipped to ensure training is both flexible and approached in a manner that will help you establish the return on your investment.
How Does it Work?
Developed with employers, the Training Quality Standard has been designed to establish that providers have the necessary steps in place to meet employers’ priorities and expectations when sourcing training.
Endorsed by Business
Providers that achieve Certification will have demonstrated that their approach to training achieves satisfaction with, and impacts on, the businesses they work with. The Assessment Process includes talking to past customers of training providers making them integral to both the evidence base and assessment process.

The Standard is concerned with providers that deliver high quality training and development solutions to employers. Size of the organisation, training solutions offered or links to public programmes is not important - what matters most is what the solutions achieve for employers.
